Molly Batchelder: Whimsical Watercolors
Molly’s watercolors have graced Tessa’s walls since she was just a baby, and we know you will love them for your children’s rooms, bathrooms, or any nook in the home that needs a touch of whimsy.
Her small, naive pieces convey gaiety, incongruity and a sense of the ridiculous in stylized representations of daily life in a time when life was simpler. She is most satisfied when her paintings make the viewer smile.
The frames are an integral part of the work and are “fancy” grain painted to complement each piece.
Her works have been shown in counltess East Coast galleries and carried in chic New England shops. She has a devoted following who add to their collection every year!
